Guided by the Earth
I'm an herbalist, ecologist, wildlife and environmental researcher, forager, and naturalist.
For as long as I can remember, I've had a deep fascination with the natural world and our place, as humans, in it. This led me to study and research behavior - animal and human behavior - and why beings do what they do. What drives us. What impacts our decisions. What creates patterns in our lives and in our bodies. How to encourage and support behaviors that are beneficial for ourselves and the earth. I first recognized the power of plants over 20 years ago when I chose a plant-based diet and began a deep dive into nutrition and plants. This journey led to me study the medicinal benefits of plants and mushrooms and in 2022, I decided to pursue herbalism full-time.
I believe that true healing and joy can best be accessed when we learn to listen to ourselves and our bodies and that plants are beautiful teachers and allies on this journey. My training has taught me to listen to the language of the body (symptoms) to identify patterns and select plants that would be a good match to help achieve a desired outcome. Connecting to plants on a deeper level can connect us to our bodies in profound ways, which can enhance our vitality and quality of life. I've personally found great healing through plants & mushrooms and various somatic practices to break unhelpful patterns in my life and invite healthy flow that is more in rhythm with nature.
As a vitalist herbalist and student of nature, I look to identify the root of a client's concern and offer herbal, nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to address concerns holistically. I am constantly amazed by the intelligence of the body and its innate ability to heal - physically, emotionally and energetically - when given adequate space and support. Ultimately, I strive to empower my clients to develop a deeper, more collaborative relationship with their bodies and with the earth, both of which I believe are incredible guides for our lives, and for our health.
I am humbled and honored to be able to serve as a guide for others towards embodiment, empowerment, health and greater fulfillment.
