What to expect in a session
Consultation
After booking your appointment, you will receive a health intake form to complete and submit 3 days before your appointment date. This gives me enough time to read through your form and familiarize myself with your history, current concerns and goals. We will review the form together during your appointment, which will take about 90 minutes. I will make recommendations specifically created for you and your health and wellness goals. I prefer to work with my clients longterm and I encourage you not to think about your appointment as a one-off. Herbs take time, patience and listening. Think of me as your herbal consultant who you can reach out to whenever you need support.
Protocol
Following our visit, I will develop a protocol for you, based on your needs and interests, that may include the following:
Herbal remedies - These products may be herbal teas, tinctures, salves, syrups, and/or powders. I can make the remedies for you (for an additional fee) or help you purchase them.
Lifestyle and dietary suggestions - I will also provide other suggestions, such as supplements or wellness activities, to support your goals.
Meditation practices - Meditation can make a profound impact on our health and wellness. Your protocol might also include personalized recorded guided meditations to help you ground and find safety in your body.
Embodied Awareness Practices - We may choose to incorporate embodiment practices into your protocol to encourage smoother flow of qi (life energy) in your body/life. Tao of Trauma (ToT) is an East meets West approach to nervous system regulation, which blends western trauma physiology with Asian medicine. This work involves guided embodied awareness to help restore balance and build resilience.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact me 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee.
Sliding Scale Option: Unfortunately, most insurance companies do not cover herbalism. I understand that this can be cost-prohibitive for some. Please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss payment options. We can do a lot with a little so don't let cost hold you back :-)
